Dr. Tonya W. Jackson
Dr. Tonya Jackson and her staff at New Vision Eye Clinic were awarded
for their commitment to excellence in patient care by TLC The Laser Eye
Center in 1998. Her clinical research into the onset of myopia in
children has yielded numerous publications in optometric literature. Dr.
Jackson provides all aspects of optometric care to her patients. She
is an attending optometric physician at Triad Eye Laser Center, and
completed the Northeastern State
University College of Optometry Laser
Vision Correction
Certification course in 1999. She has served on the TLC Advisory
Board, and as a sub-investigator of LASIK Hyperopic Astigmatism and
Mixed Hyperopic Astigmatism utilizing the VISX Star Laser. Dr. Jackson
underwent LASIK Laser Vision Correction in 1997, which corrected her
vision to 20/20. She has since become a passionate advocate of Laser
Vision Correction. Dr. Jackson completed her training in
Micropigmentation at the American Micropigmentation Academy in San
Antonio, Texas. Her exceptional technical skills were recognized with
an outstanding student award. The addition of Micropigmentation to Dr.
Jackson's practice has allowed her to assist women in redefining their
natural beauty through the
application of permanent cosmetics. She completed state certification requirements for the state of Oklahoma in April 2002.
Dr. Nicole Davis
Dr. Nicole Davis is a graduate of Northeastern State University of Oklahoma
College of Optometry, Dr. Davis was an award winning student with a long
list of achievements. In 2007 alone, she received eight honors,
including Beta Sigma Kappa Silver Medal, the NSU Academic Achievement
Award for Outstanding 4th year student and the Triad Excellence in
Ocular Pathology Award. Dr. Davis's interest in optometry began while
she was in high school. She was employed at Complete Eye Care in
Lawton, Oklahoma until she left for college. Dr. Davis earned a
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from The University of
Oklahoma before attending optometry school. While in optometry School,
Dr. Davis completed a Clinical Externship at Eye Care Associates, where
she worked with Dr. Williams and Dr. Langley. Her focus was on primary
care, pre and post-surgical care, and acute care. Dr. Davis also
received instruction and clinical courses on YAG and Argon lasers as
well as Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT), the latest technology
used to treat glaucoma.
